Welcome to the 'Stories' portal of the website, where you can learn about some of the fascinating lesser-known tales from the 1916 Easter Rising and beyond. Many of the brave men and women involved in Ireland's revolutionary period have never had a chance to have their story told or their voices heard. 'Stories from 1916' was set up with the goal of rectifying that unfortunate reality and telling these tales in a modern, interactive way that will keep audiences, young and old, entertained while they learn more about these incredible stories from our history.

These stories are broken up into four sections; 'Rebel Tales', 'Revolutionary Women', 'Army Stories', and the 'Irish-American Connection'.
